Holster list

Postby Sccy-Captain » Tue Dec 20, 2011 10:08 am

This may not be a complete list, but it does give us a few options for carrying our Sccys. Most of these are for the p11 but should function fine with the CPX line, in most cases. Hope some of you find this helpful.

Let's also include Clevelandsholsters.
He posted up a few weeks back.. IMHO, better than the crossbreed as it is more adjustable, AND about 1/2 the price.. I'll be posting a review of mine soon..
He also has a deal for people on this Forum with an additional $10 off..

(1/2013 Update - look for my 2 year review later in this thread!)

By all means, lets continue to add to this list! I posted what I was able to find with a quick google search. I have a Comp-Tac Minotaur for my fullsize H&K USP 45 and is a very comfortable rig. It does a great job on concealing a full size pistol under a loose fitting t-shirt. But like you mentioned, it is a little pricey.

I use the holster on my COP Derringer too. Just adjust the snaps.

Is anyone here aware that the KTP 11 Fobus holster designed for the Kep-Tec does not fit the second gen Sccy? I just found that out myself. I made the holster work with a little filing and sanding but its hard to tell if it works the same. Seems like the new gun is thicker and there also might be an issue withe the trigger guard that makes it not fit quite right.

I like the Elite Deep Cover Ultra
So are you saying SIZE 2 will fit this gun?

Last week I spoke with Tony at www.elitesurvival.com he informed me they have holsters for the CPX series of firearms. I told him I would spread the news here.
The holsters appear to be made from nylon, in a few different styles and have resonable prices.

mine from elite survivor...adaptable to many other firearms too. Have had it since December 2011. Used it daily since. Stopped carrying my SCCY and went to my COP Derringer. Same holster. Carry OTB RH side aboce pocket.

Foxx holsters makes SCCY-specific holsters. Never used one, but the reviews I've read are pretty good. And the prices are really good.

Another confirmation that the Fobus KTP-11 will not fit the CPX 2 properly. I drilled out all four rivets and replaced then with machine screws, nuts, and used washers as spacers. It works great, just the right amount of click when the trigger guard snaps into place and it's a nice draw. I'll check another hardware store to see if I can replace the shiny stuff with black. As with another poster, I think the bottom of the receiver and the trigger guard is a little wider that the holster was designed for.

You might try some flat black model paint or black finger nail polish.
