ABOUT ME: I am a gun collecter. To show all i am not blowing smoke here are a few of my plastic guns. The yellow Taurus are new too. I found it strange to have a gun made in safety yellow. I put tags on all my guns. I have a lot and it helps my memory. I have a gun room where i display my guns. It is my addiction. I don't vacation, drink or gamble. Just into guns and cars.

Wow.. Nice collection of pistols..

So you have a Kahr and a Glock 9mm.. These are well known and respected guns..

How does the Sccy (Gen 2) compare in your opinion??

The SCCY Gen 2 I have to me is an unknown manufacturer, unadvertised, and a fantastic value of a gun. I just stumbled across them on Gun Broker buying a different gun from a dealer who stocked them. #2 stainless cost me $155. Smaller than the Glock I paid $450 for. More controlable that the Kahr to shoot as the grip ofthe SCCY is better (I paid $400 used.). You also notice the Kahr has an extended mag which gives one a better grip and more capacity. I think SCCY has a black eye because of the Gen 1 issues. They need to hire some salespeople.

I've spent a lot of money on guns, motorcycles and women. The rest I just wasted.

I agree with you, except the sales people part. Thats not the problem. There's plenty of people and companies calling and mailing gun dealers info on them, it's mostly the unknown and 1st gen issues like you mentioned. We talk to dealers that have spoke to one of the other distributors, or to sales at the factory, daily. The company i work for has contacted over 75% of all dealers in the US ourselves over just the past few months, and some of the big distributors (with huge client bases) have them and advertise them now too, so it's not a lack of sales people. We even give new dealers 30 days to try them out, even take them to the range and use them. If they dont want to stock them they can send it back for a refund. That helps a little to get new dealers to try the 2nd gens but the internet chatter when you google them does hurt. They are a great value, it's just getting people to try them.

A couple pictures of my gun room....finally got things going with my new computer. I have tagged everything because 250 plus is hard on this old mans memory. Have a spread sheet too. Everything I have is real and semi-autos only.
Enjoy

I like the pepper box pistol...
I don't think I'm alone in having my collection put to shame by these photos...
I hope you have good locks and an alarm system!
